TROLLEY & ASSET TRACKING: SKYTRACK

Equipment tracking allows you to know exactly where your catering service trolleys are – anywhere in the world. Carts are tagged to support first barcode scanning, then RFID technology, to avoid time-consuming need to scan them at every point of operation within the network.

Barcodes can be scanned on smartphones (Android, Apple iOS, Windows) or on barcode scanners. Any resulting information is captured centrally in our SkyLog system and can be compared with the relevant inventory data for accurate forecasting.

As well as tracking your trolleys, we aim to increase the catalogue of traceable items, such as linen or headphones, and develop other uses for our tracking application, e.g. in combination with buy-on-board concepts.

Trolley tracking not only reduces operating costs but also makes the cabin crew’s work so much more efficient. For syngery, combine SkyTrack with SkyLog and SkyLoad.
